Melinda went to a fun dinner at Solitude in early August where we got to eat right in the middle of a ski resort among the most beautiful scenery. We learned about the fresh food the chef was preparing for us from the farmer and seafood purveyors. We were literally the only ones that weren't drinking - as wine was also an option for each of the five-courses - and no one could believe that we would actually be there for good food and company without needing to drink. It's true!

We met the most interesting people as we sat by the parents of the wine importers - and the wine importers themselves who have lived in Spain and now Heber City. We talked about many things including religion and our different and also many shared beliefs and values as well as many other topics. Many of the other guests were meeting and wheeling dealing with business along the way - it was fascinating. We had a great time!
