While Brent, Lilli, Maggie and Ivy went on a weekend to Phoenix to visit friends, I was lucky enough to get to spend time with Davis and Grace.
Davis and his turtle had fun building hide-outs and forts out of blankets and the chair.
While Grace was finishing up at school, Davis and I went to lunch and had fun playing.
Then we picked Grace and her rolling backpack up from school.
We went back to my house for dinner, movies and craft projects. Davis had his own table to watercolor.
Grace worked on projects while lounging in multiple shirts and pants.
I'll admit that my bed is so comfy with the fabulous mattress pad on it.
The next day we met up with Melinda, Kristen and Dad for dinner at Golden Corral. Davis especially liked the cotton candy.
Then, back to their house where we woke up Sunday morning and got ready for church. They were so good at doing what they needed to do to get ready so that we were on time.
Grace started working on a script for a video project she needed to do at school. She had been researching Kane County and had an idea for a news broadcast where she would play both a female and a male anchor reporting the facts she had found.
Grace was a big help and Davis is pretty irresistible in a jacket and a tie.
After church we headed to Grandpa's house for dinner and fun before they had their last night at their Grandma Sue's. I was working on daily Instagram posts on gratitude leading up to Thanksgiving. For "L" we thought I would do laughter, and Grace wanted to help me with my post. Davis has the best laugh, and she snuck up on him and got him to laugh . . . so cute!
Melinda and Grace started working on her dream house.
Davis was playing with the wigs, which gave us a great idea - to have Grace use some of Grandpa's wigs for her video project.
The next day, Lilli texted these pics of Bob Bic and Jill Jenga. She looks great and her video turned out awesome!
And, I sent Grace a little gift in the mail to thank her for being such a great helper over the weekend. Love these kiddos!
