It's no secret that all of us love food. On my phone when I download my pictures, I find all sorts of favorite foods that I have loved . . . so I will share as part of what I'm loving right now.
This view is of the fountains at City Creek while sitting at Blue Lemon enjoying my new favorite, stake tacos. Isn't it gorgeous with the temple in the background.
My friend, Camille, called me on a day when I happened to be home and needed some eggs. I went over to drop them off, and then joined her from some eggs and toast. It was delicious.
Love Hires . . .and having a refreshing cherry limeade.
If I were dying . . . I've often said that crab legs would be one of my desired last meals. Love them! And, Red Lobsters are actually really good! There is nothing better than cracking open the crab, and getting a complete piece . . . which I reward myself with drenching in melted butter and enjoying! So good!
We love sushi and have discovered a new favorite with Tona in Ogden on 25th street. They have a secret menu as well as great specials that we have enjoyed. Above is a bacon bubble gum appetizer that only takes us a few minutes to down. It's so creative and delicious.
From the secret menu is the Green Globe. That is thin layers of avocado that form a ball around a delectable crab salad. Wow! Is it good.
A favorite lunch spot is Bambara . . . right across the street at the Hotel Monaco. On Mondays they have a special with fettucine, mushrooms and chicken in a madeira sauce. You also get soup or salad and a chocolate chip cookie with the daily special. It's a treat.
One of my favorite quick lunches is heading to City Creek for the Utah Roll at Mr. Sushi. They make it fresh and this roll has crab and is topped with onion crunches and some slightly spicy sauces.
On Thursdays we love to go the Gallivan Center to partake of the food trucks. Occasionally, the Surefire Pizza oven is there and this margarita pizza is a highlight.
