Gymnastics Finale

We started out the first meet of the season with Grace and Maggie where we got a text that their new baby sister, Ivy was born.  Two months later, we were at the final gymnastics meet with Lilli and Ivy.  So fun!

 We had these fantastic light sticks at our seats.  Grace was good at using several of them to form a "U".

It was a record setting meet with both gymnastics and our family.  Until next year!

Happy Birthday Brent

We celebrated Brent's birthday with a dinner celebration on his actual birthday, which happened to be on a Sunday so we could all be together.  The weather was fabulous and so we were able to spend some time outside in Grandpa Gary's treehouse while dinner was being put together.

Brent asked for our favorite books as a gift.   He got a good variety of gifts, and a few magazines too.  

 These two sure do love each other.

Brent is an awesome brother, son, husband, father and friend.  He is hard-working, happy, and really good at working to keep relationships together.  He is an important part of our family and we are very grateful for him in our lives.  Happy Birthday!  We love you!

Girls Night Out

We were lucky to go to dinner one night with Maggie and Lilli.  We were having a great time at Longhorn Steakhouse for dinner . . . see how much fun Maggie is having. 

Then, we decided to go to The Chocolate and were so excited to get the variety of desserts we had ordered.  Maggie . . .still excited. 

 Then, after finishing our delicious treats . . . Maggie was DONE!  This is a girl who definitely needs her sleep and wasn't up for too much partying.  Kind of funny.  Lilli said that as soon as Maggie got home, she got into bed and was out. 

Ivy's Blessing Day

Ivy Catherine Bird was blessed by her father, Brent, on March 2, 2014.  It was a fabulous day with weather that turned out to be great so we could be outside.
