8 Things I Loved About the Royal Wedding

My plan this morning was to wake up around 8:30 and go to the gym. What actually happened was that I woke up at 11:00 and watched the royal wedding on my DVR. And let me tell you, I loved it!

Here are 8 reasons why:

1. The Brits know the importance of dressing up for an occasion. I can’t tell you how many receptions I have been to where people have shown up in jeans – jeans!
2. The hats!!

3. Seeing the trees inside Westminster Abbey – it looked beautiful!
4. How hot was David Beckham???

5. For that matter, how hot was Prince Harry?

6. How great that this was a public holiday in Britain!
7. That you could hear the cheers from outside the abbey as they said their vows.
8. That wedding dress (modest, too!).

Bag It!

Here we are with our bags

Heather correctly guessed that Kristen is on the right with her practical carry-on bag. Melinda and I rarely carry on because we are dealing with products that we don't have travel sizes for and we just have lots of stuff. Kristen is the sensible one and is a great traveler. If anyone went to London with her, she was even content staying in a hostel . . .whereas I have become a resort/Marriott girl. Kristen is very easy going and flexible while traveling.

Which leads me to the middle bag. Good job, Briana. The blog stalking has paid off (one of my favorite past times as well) and you have correctly identified my large bag. It doesn't matter if I am gone for a day or a week I seem to take/need the same amount of stuff. And, my bag is always the heaviest. I think it was in Hawaii where I got to pay for being over the standard 50 pounds. I also like to leave a little room in anticipation of fun shopping. So, it's a fun game to see how much my bag weighs. Also, my philosophy is the bigger the better. Which holds true for my purse too . . . it pretty much needs it's own chair.

Melinda is on the left and apparently kind of mysterious. She is a balance between Kristen and I. Melinda has both a practical and fun traveling side. She likes to pack enough and leave room for other things, but still likes to be efficient with what she brings. We thought it was pretty interesting in looking at our bags, how much they reflect who we are.

Whose Is Whose??

We realized that our bags when we travel, actually say a lot about each of our personalities. From our recent trip, can you figure out whose bag is whose? Take a guess and I'll tell you tomorrow.
